Frequently Asked Questions
What are construction cores and why use them?
Temporary cylinders installed during the build so trades can use a job key. At turnover we swap in the permanent cores and the job key stops working everywhere at once. No rekeying every door at the end, and no risk that a trade still holds a working key.
Can you supply the hardware or do we buy it?
Either. We supply commercial Grade 1 and Grade 2 hardware at trade pricing, or we install owner-supplied hardware from your door schedule. Installation starts at $75 per door for labor.
Do you work from a door hardware schedule?
Yes. Send the schedule and we key it: keyed-alike per floor or per unit, master keyed for management, and a final key schedule delivered to the owner at Certificate of Occupancy.
Can you handle a 40-unit building in one visit?
Yes. Multi-unit installs are scheduled as a project with a crew sized to the door count. We coordinate with your punch list so doors are done before final inspection.
